Presentation of the Cercle Généalogique d'Alsace (CGA)

       The Cercle Généalogique d'Alsace (Genealogical Circle of Alsace) was founded in 1967 served as a connection between the genealogists who carry out family research of the area (Bas-Rhin, Haut-Rhin, Territoire de Belfort) and to enable mutual support. The CGA is a laic and apolitical association. It is also a member of the Federation of the historical and archeological societies of Alsace and has approximately 1500 members (31/03/2004) in the whole world.

The association is managed by a committee elected during the general meeting of the members. This committee is currently made up of 14 members:
